Learning through landscapes
Monday
LEFT - We also made Hobby Horses out of old socks. In the afternoon we then did a Horse Jumping show with our horses.
RIGHT - On Monday Guy Higgins came to school and bought all his drums with him for us to play. He has drums that come from all over the world.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we worked in the school environment with Graham Parsons from Learning Through Landscapes:
We painted pictures
with mud
We made
spider webs
We decorated some
of our trees
Glyn Evans from
Hampshire Music Service worked with the Year 2 children and their recorders.
Years 1 and R made faces using things found in our school grounds.
Year 2 children made pictures using twigs,
stones, plants and any objects they found in the school grounds.
Wednesday
Daphne Ellman
Painting
aerobics session
On Wednesday Daphne Ellman a local artist came to do an Art Masterclass. We painted owls.
Angie came from Applemore Sports Centre to do an aerobics session with each class.
Thursday
On Thursday everyone had a creative session. We made models, masks and a variety of artefacts using our art and craft skills.
Friday
Miss Ali, from Dancewise Studio, showed us how to do Irish Dancing.
One of the children’s Nanny’s came to help us when we did some weaving out side.
We made some transparent pictures using natural objects and LOTS OF GLUE!!!
